Rotary's Lord of the Wind Reggae Party. Friday Jan
24th Buena Vista Beach Resorts will host the second party for Lord
of the Wind. Felipe Valdez of BVBR has again lined up the rocking
Reggae band heard last year. This is one of the best band in Baja
and last year drew a great crowd to hear them. Drinks start at
6pm with dinner at 7pm. The band will start playing at 8pm and
Reggae the night away. During drinks and dinner Rotary will be
holding a silent auction you will not want to miss.
Dinner $20 entertainment included. Tickets available at Buena Vista
Beach Resorts, from any Rotarian and at the community market. Don't

So even if you have extremely good coverage in your US policy, you
still need to get liability coverage specifically for Mexico. It is
possible that your US insurance will cover personal injuries and
your own damages to the vehicle, but it may be for a limited time
and distance from the border, usually for a few days and not
exceeding 50 miles from the border but keep in mind a U.S/Canadian
policy is not valid in Mexico as it is not accredited by the Mexican

TRAVEL INFORMATION
I
just received a update on the Volaris shuttle from SD to TJ airport
by Volaris. I was going to take it this week but will take the
trolley to the border instead. in general they do not sell tickets
at the location. It is at the santa fe stop. they recommend 3.5
hours before flight as it is 50 minutes estimated to get from SD
pickup point to TJ airport.. I have posted the schedule at my site

also next week I received a notice that they are
closing 3 lanes going south to San Ysidro crossing at the border I5
so it will be a mess.

I went north 8 days ago and was the worst northbound
crossing ever experienced by me and I was walking which is normally
15 minutes with a ready pass it was 2 hours for me and over 4 hours
for all others. The rumor was the gun fight by the US police close
to the border the night before caused it. .
