UVERDE, A.C. ~ Clean up Los Barriles, 8 – 11 am, Friday January
31st. Location: Across the highway from the Welcome to Los
Barriles fountain. We provide the bags and haul away the litter.
All you have to do is show up and lend a hand and this time it
is really needed. Highway along the LB main entrance and bypass
road is well sprinkled with unsightly litter. UBL Designs will
donate workers. HS students doing Social Service will pitch in
as will Sofia from Wild Coast Chapter. See you there! Many

What a great event made possible by the wonderful support from the
community. The magnitude of the project could not possibly be
achieved unless we had over 120 community members volunteer. A great
big Thank You to all who gave of their time.
During the week we have five parties serving over 1,000 dinners, 4
different live bands, 75 races, and during Saturday and Sunday we
estimated that there were over 1,000 people on the beach watching
the competition.. The competitors, spectators, and vendors all
gave us a big thumbs up.
We will do a follow-up as soon as the dust clears.

videographer for this year’s production of A Puppet’s Ire or How I
learned to Love Barbed Wire. We are looking for a person or people
who has/have cameras and sound recording equipment and know(s) how
to do a good job editing video with sound. We expect the finished
video will be uploaded to the web (to Vimeo or equivalent) so others
can enjoy your work. Our budget is small, but we offer a cash
