Closed on Sunday............On Saturday, July 26th the shop
will CLOSE until fall as usual. Come in and shop while you

RECYCLE NEWS: Next THURSDAY, JULY 3 is our
next Recycle Collection Day. Please VOLUNTEER if you can spare one
hour to help us, as many of our regular volunteers are gone. It's
not too hard and many hands make the sorting, stomping fast and fun.
Bring a hat, gloves and a smile! We will be collecting from 9-11:00
am at our Recycling Center located at the south end of East Cape
Casas and RV Resort (entrance across from the Modelorama). As
always, we want to thank East Cape Casas and RV Resort for their
continuing generosity! And please make a donation to support our ALL
VOLUNTEER organization ($70 pesos is suggested). We must pay for gas
and our driver for transport each month! FYI: We will be collecting
in August, then take a break for the summer months.
EXCITING RECYCLE NEWS! As announced last month, We can now accept
PLASTIC BAGS!! We have located a recycler in LaPaz who will accept
ALL types of CLEAN plastic bags (except the large black trash bags).
After many years of trying to solve this problem, we hope this will
be a permanent solution to much of the plastic bag pollution in our
sensitive marine environment, not to mention an eyesore on our
highways and beaches. Make sure they are CLEAN (with no food
remnants!) or they cannot be recycled. Questions:

Sadly, we will no longer be able to take colored glass (including
wine bottles) until further notice. ECRB will continue to search for
a source to recycle the colored glass that is so popular in our
community. We can still take your clear glass and bottles.
