ATM!!!

     1)  Just to let everyone know that Sunday we went to Bancomer in Los Barriles  to withdraw some cash at the atm and there were 3 young Mexican men outside.  We went in and got our cash and as soon as we got out one of the guys immediately went into the atm machine.  Later that day we got a call from our bank that there had been 3 successful attempts at withdrawing $168.22 each time at Bancomer in San Jose. We talked to  the bank manager in the Los Barriles branch and he said they would investigate but it’s still worth noting and be careful.

     2)  I had the same problem with my ATM at the bank in Los Barriles....Did not give me cash but deducted from my account.  Please withhold name...The happened on 5-23-2014.

CALEB'S CAFE is headed in a new direction......We will be changing locations beginning July 1st. We are moving to the center of town in Valentine's Plaza the small space with four tables out front. Let’s talk security cameras one more time. The easiest to install is the Dropcam from Dropcam.com or Amazon. The camera takes two minutes to install on your wireless network and can be placed anywhere indoors within 5 feet of a power outlet. I do have mine outside but tucked 3 feet under an overhang. The power cord is well protected. I have a second camera inside the house looking directly at the entries. If anyone comes on our property or enters the house, I get an immediate notification on my phone, my tablets and my email. Those alerts happen instantly no matter where in the world I am. I can send clips of the video to anyone that may need them. I can view real time video from any of my portable devices. With my authorization my neighbors can have access to the video. For a small additional cost recordings are available on the Dropcam server for 7 days.

Should you leave your electronic device plugged-in and charging? Most definitely, yes! Almost every modern device has a lithium ion battery. You have 500 charging cycles on most lithium ion batteries. If you let it drop below 50% charge, that counts as a full charging cycle. All new devices have built in chips to prevent overcharging and fires.

Don’t let the airline take advantage of you when you fly. If you are delayed because of the airline or suspect that it was the airlines fault, there is a web site that can help. Here is the link: http://www.getairhelp.com/us. They take a 25% cut of whatever they can recover from the airline. If they recover nothing, you are not charged. We just received a shipment of about 500 kilos of beautiful wahoo fillets from somewhere real far away (Asia if my memory serves me, or maybe Samoa). That said, we now have our famous Wahooligan Sandwich back on the menu (char-grilled, French baguette, grilled red onions, wasabi mayo), as well as Ichiban of Ono (lightly seared wahoo, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi), Sashimi of Ono (raw wahoo, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi), and a 3-wahoo taco special.
