Last Saturday, June 21st, our family, friends
from LB and 24 friends from the States celebrated our son' life,
Tommy, on the Sea of Cortez. A wonderful boat procession
was led by the Tunarita and five other boats from Verdugo's,
where we had a brief ceremony in front of the Slides. We simply
want to express our gratitude to some of our great business
establishments in Los Barriles who make us love this place as
our home. First, Martin Verdugo and his family made room for
all of our visiting folks and showed such kindness and respect
to us for our loss. Three days of fishing was then completed
with our procession and ceremony at The Slides. We had made
reservations at three of our fine restaurants to accommodate our
group of 35; Tio Pablo's, El Barrilito and Bayview where we were
treated to great service and fine meals at each establishment.
We are so proud to call Los Barriles our home! Attached is a
picture of the Sunrise last Saturday morning on our beautiful
Sea of Cortez that he loved so well and where his remains rest
in peace forever.
