March 7 is Baja Ha Ha Dinner
with Golf Tournament by East Cape Guild. It will feature Mesquite
BBQ beef with wonderful side dishes Donated by Chris Moyers from
Smokey's and The best secret recipe Flan for dessert. Bob and
Irene DeAndero are hosting the dinner at their home in Hermosa Vista
Can it get any better? Yes! Because we get to help our local
students realize their dreams for higher education with all profits.
First comes the Ha Ha Golf Tournament at 1pm. At the first Arroyo
north of Los Barriles. All golf clubs, balls, tees and score cards
included with your ticket for dinner and golf. All levels of players
are welcome.
Teams are encouraged to come in team outfits- use your imaginations.
We match up players needing teammates for foursomes at checkin.
You know we will have giant all beef hot Dogs and our drinks cart
circling the course. Remember it is a Ha Ha so come ready for fun
and a lot of laughs. Tickets are $25 and include both golf and
dinner

Los Barriles Dog Show Announcement: We are excited to announce that
the Schutzhund Association from La Paz will be opening The Los
Barriles Dog Show on Sunday March 15th. Schutzhund training is for
highly skilled working dogs such as those in the police, search and
rescue and border control. There will be up to 20 dogs at the show
demonstrating some of their skills such as bringing someone to the
ground in a controlled environment, and various elements of their
discipline training. Please come along and support these amazing
dogs and enjoy their event! We will have commentary in both English
and Spanish. Spectators - please remember to bring something to sit
on, such as a chair or blanket, and some shade such as an umbrella.
Dog owners – all dogs must be leashed.

There's a new app that may bring peace of mind to a lot of us who
are out in the Sun. We all know the real dangers of Skin Cancer.
There's an App for that - FirstDerm; available on Apple and Android.
You take a cell phone photo of the area and submit the photo through
the app to a board certified dermatologist and you get the results
in 24 hours. Cost is $40usd. That's expensive but it buys a lot of
peace of mind especially if you have someone who likes to dodge the
Doc. From someone who's had skin issues, it's still best to visit
the Doc who may see something else. I visit twice a year.
Google is about to enter the Cell Phone business. Possible name
"Nova". Price point will be unbelievably cheap rivaling Republic
Wireless at under $30 for unlimited text, data and voice. They plan
to offer a host of other services that are way ahead of the
competition. If your contract is about to expire, you may want to
delay for a couple more months even if they waive that shiny new
phone in front of you.

b. Tony, Norma and the staff of La
Fogata would like to invite you to their 4th anniversary buffet
dinner on Saturday, March 7th, 2015; starting at 6 p.m..
Mexican folklore group will start out the evening with a folklore
dance show; followed by wonderful live music with the Last Family.
Dinner and entertainment will be in the new park behind La Fogata
Restaurant. Tickets are $15 usd or 200 pesos per person. Due
to limited seating; reservations must be made and tickets purchased
prior to March 7th.
Buffet dinner will include: Mixed salad, salsa, guacamole, chips ---
Roast pork, chili rellenos, chicken enchiladas, rice, beans and
