BASH 5k Run, on the beach at Buena Vista Beach Resort. A free Kids K
run/walk starts at 8:30 am, followed by the 5K main event, starting
at 9:00 am. Register at Snell Realty offices in Los Barriles and La
Ribera, INNOVASPORT Stores in La Paz and Los Cabos, Monday thru
Friday, at Buena Vista Beach Resort Saturday and Sunday, before 8
am. Awards and medals. T-shirts to first 140 registrants.

A Record turn out for Baja
Ha Ha Golf and Dinner was enjoyed by 83 golfers and 110 diners.
Margaritas were smashing, hot dogs a sale out, and the DeAnderos
house made a lovely site with music and food that captured raves for
the BBQ BEEF and the sides generously donated by Smokey's. The Guild
Gals provided the Flan.
Our returning Champions were Gary Gerlich, Sue Hatfield, Gwen and
Bernie Bathgate. Way to go.
Our student scholars benefit from the donations raised and all of us
get to have a fun time. What could be better? Check out other East

Auction to Benefit La Paz
Orphanage, New Creations, on Sunday, March 15th, starting at 3 pm at
Lazy Daze Beach Bar (end of Barracuda lane). Kids from New Creations
will be there. Quality items, too numerous to mention. The community
has been extremely generous in donating. A list of items can be seen
at Homes and Land of Baja. There's something for everyone. The goal
is to rebuild their workshop that was destroyed in Odile so they
have a place to create items for sale to support the Orphanage.

The Los Barriles Dog Show:
Only a few days to go until the first ever dog show in Los Barriles
– and in Baja! Come along and either bring your dog to join in the
fun of the events, or come and watch with friends and family. There
will be face painting for kids, 50/50 raffle, a full bar, food
provided by Lighthouse, La Fogata, Joe’s Deli and Carmen’s Coffees,
a select number of vendors and a performance by the Schutzhund
Association of La Paz. The regular doggy events include best looking
dog, cutest pair, best trick or skill and best costume. And of
course who could forget the agility events featuring all the dogs
who have worked so hard over the past few weeks to get to this
stage? We’re not sure what the weather will be doing this Sunday, so
if you’re coming to watch, please bring something to sit on such as
a chair or a picnic rug, and some shade such as an umbrella.
Entrance is 50 pesos per dog, and 20 pesos per spectator. Children
under 12 go free. All monies raised will make possible the vitally
important spaying and neutering clinics for dogs in Los Barriles.

to the beach and support this other worthy cause!
