At yesterday's clinic held
with Cabo Humane Society, forty seven dogs and cats were spayed or
neutered. There were over fifty volunteers representing both
communities. We were deeply saddened by the death of two dogs.
One dog suffered from heart problems. The other dog dog had severe
bleeding due to a tick born disease. We are reminded of the need for
dogs to receive treatment for ticks and fleas. The loss
of any dog weighs heavily on our hearts. Many thanks to
all the volunteers for their time and efforts. Our gratitude to the
community for their support

The OK Chorale is out to pasture
till the fall, after a fun performance at the LB Community Market.
Thanks to the wonderful singers, both regulars and visitors, who
raised their voices in song and shared their camaraderie. We’ll be
starting up again in the fall and would love to welcome more
participants to join in the fun. We’re also planning to do an
indoor, unplugged, concert in the fall so that friends and listeners
can truly enjoy the sound of our voices blended in harmony and joy.
