East Cape Health Center is having an Open House Celebration Friday,
April 24 from 4-6pm. This is our way to say Thank You to all who
made this possible and to show off our newly expanded facility.
There will be live music, light refreshments and free drawings for
Passport to Health and for Dental Cleanings. Everyone welcome, so
come, bring your friends and see what new services are available to
our community.

Ball Tournament another giant success this year! Special thanks to
Theresa Comber for letting us use East Cape RV for the venue, Mark
and Jennifer Rayor for a ton of ice, the donators of the Silent
Auction items, Barrilitos restaurant for their deliciosa Carne de
Cerda, and all attendees who battled to the finish. Congratulations

"Reggae Night Beach Party", featuring the Jamaican sounds of Ajino
Moto, at Buenavista Beach Resort. This is the same band that had
everyone jammin at the Lord of the Winds party. Great menu planned
for the evening, with Hamburgers, Pork Ribs and Chicken on the
grill, served with Mashed Potatoes, Corn on the Cob and Salad, along

b. PS to the airport food: We've tried them all and
think there is only one that is worth going to. It is on airport
exit side of highway 1 just before airport exit. Not well advertised
but there is an old car hood marking turn. Food is very good and
fresh, especially seafood.

b. Flying into SJD Aug. Need to rent a car for 2 months.
Was told that all rentals need 3rd party liability insurance. Got a
price of $300 for 2 months but 3rd party insurance is $14.99 a day
extra =$1200 or a total of $1500 taco's. Any suggestion on how to
get this lower. Can I decline this insurance?
