Cafe L.A. reopens indefinitely as of Monday, Aug. 3. Serving
breakfast 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and Lunch Specials, noon until 3
p.m., Monday thru Thursday.
This weeks 80 p. Lunch Specials:
Monday, Pasta Primavera with Quinola Pasta, lots of veggies, with
or without Chicken.
Tuesday: Chicken in green mole sauce, and refried black beans.
Wednesday: Vegan Curried lentils, brown rice and yams, w/ side of
black beans.
Thursday: Beef Steak Ranchero in red chili sauce, side of refried
beans.
Daily Surprise Specials. All lunch Specials include salad and
homemade whole wheat bread.

RECYCLE NEWS! Our next regular recycling day
(first Thursday of each month, remember??) is coming up fast. But,
please NOTE: Just this once, we must move it to Friday, August 7.
East Cape Recycling Baja's volunteers are swamped with activities to
educate and entertain 100+ kids at Cursos de Verano!! (These
environmental school programs are a big reason we work to raise
funds all year. Stay tuned for some delightful highlights from this
years schedule with photos of our kids learning about their
beautiful environment and having lots of fun doing it!!)
On Friday, you may bring your prepared recycling
materials to our Recycle Center located at East Cape Casas&RV Resort
(entrance is across from the Moldelorama) from 9-11 am. Please check
our website for a list of what we accept:

collection day until November 5; Please continue to collect and
store your materials safely through the summer (and reduce and reuse
as much as possible!) but do not bring anything to the recycle
center during this rainy season. ECRB is an all volunteer

Diesel answer: Sad news! There is no No 2 Diesel fuel
available so of TJ!! I had to get rid of a 07 Cummings because of
that. It will play Hell with your Electronics. I t was
necessary for me to have new filter installed. That is 2380 $$$$!!
Otherwise it will just shut down. I contacted Mx Chamber of Commerce
re this problem. they stated No 2 would be available this summer!
That was five yrs ago. Good Luck. BF
