9th, selling advance tickets. Tickets will be on sale for the
following "Lord of the Wind" events:
Tuesday 1/12/16 - Taste of the East Cape at Buena Vista
Beach Resort. No tickets required, but buy your raffle tickets for
the Honda 500cc 4wheel drive quad. Tickets are $25 each or 6 for
$100. Drawing to be held at 8pm. NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN!
Wednesday 1/13/16 - Tamale Cook-off at the Los Barriles
Concha. No tickets required.
Thursday 1/14/16 - Party at Smokey's Bar and Grill. No

Tuesday, Jan 12th: "Taste of the East Cape" and Quad
raffle at Buena Vista Beach Resort from 6pm - 11pm. Come sample
specialties from six restaurants plus the Baja Brewing Company. Quad
raffle (value $6000US, 500cc Honda 4wheel drive, less than 100
miles) tickets available on night of drawing. Winner will be drawn
at 8pm. Winner need not be present to win. Buena Vista Beach Resort
will provide round trip transportation. Pickup and delivery will be
at the Los Barriles Concha across from Las Palmas.
Wed, Jan 13th: Tamale Cook-off at Concha from 6pm -
11pm. Open bar hosted by Rotary Club. Features some of the best
Tamale chefs on the Cape competing for the title Lord of the Wind
Tamale Champion. Come enjoy a complete tamale dinner, music, and
folk dancing. All proceeds go to support our local schools.
Thurs, Jan 14th: Party at Smokey's Bar and Grill from
6pm - 11pm. Celebrate a long day at the races with live music, a
"chicken-crap" contest, cold beverages and hot food. $25ps
dogs or beer.
Friday, Jan 15th: Reggae party at Buena Vista Beach
Resort from 6pm -12 midnight. If you like Reggae and Rock, this is
your party. Great live music, cold drinks and good food, both live
and silent auctions. Come eat, drink, and dance the night away.
Sponsored by the Buena Vista Beach Resort.
Saturday, Jan 16th: Pig Roast at Lazy Daze Beach Bar from
6pm 12 midnight. Come join us for cold cervesas and roast pork.
Dance the night away on the beach under the stars.
Sunday, Jan 17th: 8am - Free Pancake Breakfast on the
beach
Sunday, Jan17th: Lord of the Wind Awards Banquet at the
Los Barriles Park (Laguna Park) from 6pm - 2am. After five days of
competition come see who will be crowned Lord and Lady of the Wind
for 2016. The evening features awards, live music, beverages and
banquet dinner, and dancing the night away to the best Reggae and
cover Rock band on the Cape.
Lord of the Wind Merchandise will be sold at all events while
supplies last.
