ANSWERS - DISCUSSIONS

Funny how i started this trend many years ago in this area for our
clients, but with the twist that we can sign off on the checks
because the majority of our clients are not here while building
their dreams homes.
Here is what we have done and works for our clients...
Open a Dollar and a Pesos account (about 2 hours in the bank).
You W/T into your dollar account. This way there is proof of
transaction before the Mexican and American government showing that
you are not laundering money.
As we sign off on the checks for our clients we ask the Bank Manager
for a Preferable Exchange Rate before 1:30 when ever we need Pesos
or that the EXRT is GOOD!!!. In your case, if you are managing your
accounts, then you can do this thru Dorian (the guy at the entrance
side), normally we get an average between the Selling and Buying
price, because we have done this for many years.
If you W/T directly into your Pesos from USA - MX you really don´t
know what your exchange rate will until after the fact that its
done.
If you bring cash!!! Besides the fact of its scary to bring so much
cash on you... you can only Deposit into all your Dollar accounts up
to $2,000.00 USD and no more until the following month. So unless
you are bringing it to pay somebody in cash (without a trace!!!) you
will be stuck with it until you can cash it into pesos some other
way. There are other banks that will accept over $2,000 USD but i
think its up to $4,000.00 USD only.
