Sol this morning 2/20,and someone grabbed a pair of pants from
his ATV and in the pocket was his wallet. Possible the pants and
brown leather flip close wallet were tossed after the thief took the
money out of it. The name on the Alaska Driver's lic is Charles Mack
Pate. If anyone sees a pair of blue jeans in the bushes this may be
his.......... somewhere in Buena Vista area???? We will watch for

For those of you in our community wishing they good
do something good that really made a difference here I have your
answer. I don't know how many of you are aware of the now serious
drug problem here in Mexico as in the States but it has even taken
hold here in our community. There is hardly a family in the East
Cape area that has not been affected by this terrible plague. From
children in Jr. High to well known business men, this deadly drug
has taken hold. Now you can help! Saturday, March 19, our own
well known architect Carmelita and her builder husband Valentin
Lucero are having an awareness dinner and all persons wishing to
help are invited. Place; Luna Azul Salon, time; 6:00PM. Dinner will
be Roast pork and with a glass of wine. Cost of donation; $250.00
pesos or $15.00 dls. There will be live music, plus both a drinks
and dessert bars. Proceeds will go to the newly formed rehab center
they are helping get started that will be for the East Cape area
exclusively. I will personally be there and hope you all will too.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 22 till Mar. 15 and only 200 will be
available so buy early at my office, Tacos el Viejo, Karinas in

Baja Night Sky #88 -- Week of Feb. 21, 2016: 1)
February's Full Moon -- 99.8% illuminated -- rises Monday evening
around 6:30pm. But Moonrise Tuesday evening close to 7:30pm should
be more spectacular. Still close to full at 98.1%, the bright planet
Jupiter will rise with the Moon only two degrees away at the 10
o'clock position. The bright star above them is Regulus in the
constellation Leo the Lion. 2) Around 10pm, the 4th brightest star
in the sky, Arcturus, will rise at the same spot on the eastern
horizon. Most of the stars we see -- including our Sun-- are fusing
hydrogen into helium to generate their energy. Arcturus has probably
used up its hydrogen and is now fusing helium into carbon. If you
are up this late, the False Cross is lying on its side low in the
south with second brightest star, Canopus, to its upper right, and
the brightest star in our night sky, Sirius, high above Canopus. 3)
You can still spot Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter in an
arc across the early morning sky around 6am, but in another week
Mercury will descend into the glare of the rising sun. Tom at
