Looking for a couple of people to help with the
"Fiddles for Kids" program. We want to get some fiddles in the hand
of the local kids. There is a pretty good fiddle tradition here, but
it is mostly older players. We already have an instructor and a
luthier. We now need some motivated, preferably bi lingual, people

Wanted to let others know about a great, little restaurant on the
highway coming into La Paz from the north named Restaurante El
Pollon. It is located at Km 10 across from a small nursery in the
middle of the swap meet stores on the way to the La Paz airport.
They serve fabulous BBQ chicken, pork and beef with a variety of
different sauces along with ceviche and other Mexican dishes. Was a
nice departure from the usual food we have here. Lovely owner as
