My name is Marta Zavas and my husband "Skip" and I lived in Costa
Brava for 14 yrs. and sold 2 yrs.ago.We were down here on vacation
visiting all of our friends and eating at our favorite places. On
Monday 3/21 I fell in front of the chapito express and fractured my
ankle. I want to thank Christina the good Samaritan who came to my
rescue and stayed with me, making me comfortable until the ambulance
came and I was taken to the East Cape Clinic. It was confirmed that
I needed to see an Orthopedic Dr. in San Jose in which Dr. Luis
Alberto Cardenas was recommended . The ambulance took me directly to
his office where he took x/rays confirming I needed surgery right
away and the ambulance then took me to the new Hospital+ . The
ambulance drivers were great and the hospital was one like I have
never seen. It was like a 5 star hotel. I have never been treated so
well and I highly recommend Dr. Cardenas if you ever have a broken
bone or need an orthopedic Dr. he is the man. He also speaks perfect
English .
