Sad News:  East Cape Community lost a legend last Sunday around midnight, under the beautiful waning crescent moon.  Doing what he loved to do with his bees, an unfortunate infestation caused a spiral of events.  Our beloved Farris Henderson passed away from these complications resulting in kidney failure.  No words to express our feeling of loss, Farris will be missed. a.  I would like to clarify some thoughts I have – When I started feeding Fur Faces it was on my own, so I asked the group that were feeding people to help me out and was told they were only feeding people, so I thought Go For It.  Well now Thankfully this has all changed – It is not a competition like some might think.  If We All Joined Forces to See That All the Dogs Got Fed- Wouldn’t It Benefit The Whole Community.  I believe Dogs love us unconditionally so I am doing what I can to make it happen to feed them and am proud to say this.  Vickie A. b.  Road Report:  Just crossed border today. Two days driving  from LB. Rice and Beans San Ignacio. Reasonable room fee, great food wonderful folks. 2nd night Tent “Glamping” San Felipe.  Good folks, very affordable deal for folks heading north. Ad hoc operation wouldn’t work for everyone but did for us. New road a dream.  No detours no cops no potholes. Crossed at Tecate easy. – solglas@pacbell.net

b.  Hi Neighbors, just read about a person from my area (LV)  driving home to Canada and at one of the inspection spots they were concerned even though the person had gloves,.  so IMHO one should give them a squirt of gel before unlocking any doors or trunk, give them a shot of the gel for each one you unlock.     Worth a try.   I bet they ran out of gel 2 months ago.    Gel can be purchased in 5 liters from Zapopan and Sams has it in stock LaPaz.   – dean@mosquitoswithoutborders.com
