The ALMA board is looking for an individual who can strategically lead ALMA from April onwards for a period of two years. ALMA has undergone a significant change and the incoming President will be expected to deploy their leadership and motivational talents to take the organization to the next level. Do you have past experience of running a business/organization/non-profit? Do you have an interest in the welfare of animals? Are you able to successfully manage a large team of eager and dedicated volunteers? Can you demonstrate that you are able to effectively juggle a number of relationships in the US, Canada and Mexico? This role would ideally suit someone who has the skill-set to dedicate to this vital, high-profile community position and ideally (but not essential) the time in Los Barriles to fulfil the remit. Nominees will be asked to submit two paragraphs on how you envision your role and the strategic management of ALMA moving forward. The nomination period ends 4/18 and the Board will hold the election on 4/30. Only ALMA members can nominate a name for President. Emma Nicholson will be transitioning from the current role of Interim President to volunteer.
