a. Fido: There has been a very good looking tan and white unneutered male pit bull wandering around Spa Buena Vista the last several days. He’s in very good condition, friendly and has no collar. If you know someone who is looking for this dog, please let them know where he is.

a. A few here in town have started a gofundme for local Jenn Petitclerc. She took an emergency flight back to Canada last week after spending several days at H+. Her body rejected her prosthetic eye and she will need extensive surgery on her optic muscles as well as a new prosthesis. She has quite a road ahead of her! b. The Los Barriles Community Market season has come to an end for this season . Thanks to all you who support our Community Market , we had a fantastic year! We have grown with our growing town and have been able to offer more diverse products , a venue to promote community events , a home for non – profit promotion and a good feel town environment on Saturday mornings.
We are proud to say this year we were able to give back financial donations to Rotary for park improvements , recycling , the summer kids program, the La Paz orphanage and scholarships !
We thank you all for making this happen as we can’t do it without you ! Many vendors travel for long distances early in the morning to provide great products and they appreciate the support and friendly atmosphere our market provides – and so it was our best year since the Market began 7 years ago .

a. Merry Waugh, partner and fly fishing guide for the Baja Flyfishing Co has returned to los Barriles. Merry’s time in the States was in part spent working with Wyoming Women Fly Fishes including a fly fishing seminar. With many years of guiding experience, Merry is an excellent teacher and is available to for one on one fly fishing lessons, group lessons and guide trips. The East Cape Tackle Shop has been hosting some very well attended seminars by Mike Rieser from the Baja Fly Fishing and is making plans of future seminars featuring Merry Waugh.
