a. Larry Indermuehle from La Ventana is still missing. To date, there have been no sightings. If I hear something I will certainly post.
b ALMA: It is with mixed emotions that the Board of Directors of ALMA Humanitaria, AC wish to announce that, after more than 15 years, ALMA will be ceasing operations. While this decision has been a difficult one, we believe that this is the right thing to do at this time. We are immensely proud of the wonderful work we have undertaken in our community over the years through the many individuals who have donated their time and resources out of an unwavering love of animals. We wish to thank those that chased down and captured frightened dogs, delivered dog food to needy families, served as foster parents, welcomed our dogs and cats into their homes and hearts, transported dogs where and when needed, accompanied dogs to new homes, attended and worked fundraising events, donated auction items, served as master of ceremonies, donated the use of their homes or businesses, served on the Board of Directors, and helped out at spay and neuter clinics. We also want to extend a tremendous thank you to all of our financial donors who, over the years, gave so generously to us. Most especially we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incomparable Dr. Gretel de la Torre who provided loving care to our animals and to Dr. Christobel Cosia and all the other veterinarians who helped out over the years. We will support, in any way we can, and hope that our many supporters do the same, the other non-profit organizations in our community, both old and new, working to reduce the pet population and to rescue dogs and cats in distress.
**Stay tuned!** A new animal non-profit is currently being formed with three main aims: to help the community through education and awareness of responsible pet ownership, to support SNAP with spay and neuter activities and to re-home abandoned animals via partners in Mexico, USA and Canada. Through strong partnerships across Baja we will be sharing best practice and we will work together to be more effective. This includes all vets, humane societies and rescue groups. We will be publishing more news on the BPE very soon including our name, website etc.
c. Be sure to warn your fellow US drivers in Mexico that your LEFT TURN SIGNAL also means “Go around me”. Be aware that the guy behind you may try to pass you as you signal for a left turn!

We refer all Shaw TV work to a tech that has left for the season, He was not sure what the problem was and is checking on it for us.
