a.  Burglary yesterday in LB:  Update:   Good news from Barracuda, my son and friend were able to get most of the thing that were stolen back, however, the battery and charger cord from my HP laptop did not get returned.  If anyone in has an extra one or one I could borrow, it would be greatly appreciated.  rubygrubbs2009@gmail.com.  Praise be to God for  His help in tracking down the thieves and getting most things returned.   RubyA 

**Almost all the stolen items were found and returned!  The friends and family that are here on vacation and renting and all  had put the GPS app on their phones called “360”.  A couple of the guys hopped in the car and tracked the stolen phone to a pawn shop  in San Jose, south of the airport on the right side.  There he was!  Driving a  silver Ford Expedition with Mex. plates and attempting to sell the goods to the pawn shop.  The Mexican Marines were called and confronted the guy.  After much discussion the decision was made by the owners to take all the property back and leave.  The thief was not arrested because the process of arrest, confiscation of the stolen property,  paper filing, court dates, providing receipts and proof  of ownership was not practical for these vacationing Americans.  Cheryl

(2)  Yes you can use the 800 equivalents that someone posted on the BPE but, you can also look on the back of your credit cards and find international calling numbers. Sure, they may not be toll free but it’s better than not getting a hold of the place you need to call. Also, I have found that some of these international phone numbers the institution will call you back. Using Skype or Vonage or Magic Jack is also useful.
