DISCUSSIONS – ANSWERS – ANNOUNCEMENTS

a.  We crossed at San Ysidro from the US on Sunday 11/18/18 at 2:30pm with no problems, delays or any indication of trouble. We returned at 2:30pm on Wednesday 11/21/18 crossing at Otay into US because of the wait time differences. We again crossed from US thru San Ysidro on Thursday 11/22/18 at 5:30pm and returned via San Ysidro at 1:30 am on friday 11/23/18. We drove by an area that later we heard was an area of protests but we didn’t see anything resembling what was portrayed on the news. We have Sentri and cross the borders frequently and didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary other than maybe the return lines on Wednesday where a little longer. This is not a recommendation to cross or not but what we actually experienced while crossing.Hope this helps. Mark .

a.  HOLIDAY ART SHOW AT COLINA DEL SOL is December 2nd 10am – 3pm. Colina del Sol is on the road to no where, about 1/4 mile past the 2nd Arroyo- look for signs! Lots of great vendors, food, and drink. We will also have silent auction with things like: Pickleball package, wellness pkg, 6 month mail pkg, yoga pkg and raffle baskets – Night on the Town, Remodel, Date Night, Dinners Galore, and Shopping Spree. It is the raffle and silent auction that provides funds for our projects – besides you are going to get this stuff anyways, why not get here and help the kids! See you Sunday!

b.  Horseshoe Tournament Time. 1 p.m. Saturday Dec, 1st at Laze Daze. Blind draw, double elimination , 250 Spanish clams entry,, let’s get 10 teams together and do this. BTW, Dave is going for the 3peat!

c.  Capsforcancerbaja is a group of volunteers who knit and crochet hats, blankets and booties for kids and adults with Cancer. They provide 2 Orphanages with the same as well as a Rehablititaion Center in La Paz. We are looking for donations for our rummage sale Dec 16, 8am, in La Riviera, El Toro y Luna.
