a. Caffe Encinalito Will be closed as of today March 26th and re-opening April 1st. We will be doing maintenance and cleaning. Please join us April first for a variety of breakfast goodies, smoothies and the coffee drinks you love!
b. I am kind of happy to report, so far I collected $1,100us+ for the Guild Scholarship fund with my little $20ps campaign. I’ve been doing for years, but gee, with 4,460 email recipients of the BPE you’d think I should have some $4,000. Oh well, I’ll just keep plugging along. The money goes to qualified human students in need and they must have well above average grades. All applicants are screened. Kids have to pay to go to high school in Mexico. No high school, no college! I did have some generous donors, Theresa C., Yoga Garden & Mrs. Santa Claus. Thank you! ($$Jar is at Plum Loco shop next to El Viejo’s)

a. Cortez Rescue is coming to Los Barriles! Come see the beautiful, sweet, amazing rescues we have ready for adoption. Here’s your chance to visit with them one-on-one & find your furever friend!
Approx 20 rescues will be on hand with their volunteer greeter/handler. Full profiles of dogs will accompany them as well our walkers/socialization volunteers will be attending to give extra insight on the dogs. Refreshments & treats provided by CoScene- Free draw for a wind chime, created by Bev. -Fishing Rod Raffle tix will be for sale.- Cortez Table will be set up with new stickers for sale, donor box & donation bin for any supplies, food etc, volunteer sign up. – On-the-Spot Adoption-registration.
