b. Phones/Internet in Buenos Aires – the Buenos Aires area north of Jonathon and west of the main road does not have ‘real’ TelMex lines. I live there and I want a real land/internet line that can be serviced by TelMex and always works. Friday, we met with a manager at TelMex in La Paz and he said if you live in that area, you need to email him your request and he will take all the requests to the infrastructure group to prove it is worth the investment. Please included in your email your name, contact information and address or google screen shot of your location. c. Ellen Wylde made a donation to the East Cape Guild in memory of her mother. I sent her a thank you note. The Guild has been providing scholarships to help our local students better their lives for the past 21 years. This is what Ellen had to say: You are more than welcome. I wish everyone would “pony” up and contribute. My daughter, Fiona, went to the LB school every winter for 4 months from the time she was 4 years old to 9th grade. She is now 22. She became bi-lingual, and bi-cultural as well. All her best friends from her class, are in college in La Paz and Guadalajara, most of them first generation in their family’s to go to college.
