a.  Another season has come to an end and most of you will be heading North soon,, if you haven’t already left our beautiful Los Barriles.  SNAP (spay, neuter & prevention) would like to thank everyone for all your help in making 2018/2019 season another successful season with fixing 290 pets. Thank you for volunteering at our clinics, thank you for all of your donations: money to sponsor these free clinics to the Mexican community, collars, leashes, bedding for our sleeping pets after surgery, and for caring about being a part of FIXING the problem with over population of unwanted pets in our area.  Keep the donations coming and we will keep fixing as many pets as we can.  We look forward to another great season in 2019/2020.  Have a great Summer.  Kathy Ice and Gang.   kathyp1210@yahoo.com

b.  Congratulations to the 2019 Bocce Ball  team champions.  The team was composed of Isabel Flores, Julie Marks, Shaun Speer, and Alden Estey.  Thank you to everyone who donated gifts, their time, and most importantly participated!  We had a wonderful group of 68 players this year.

EVENTS

a.  Bookbinding workshop, “The Spanish Words Book” this workshop is intended for people who is learning spanish, the idea is to bring it always with you, so you will be able to write down every new word or sentence you learn, the class will be bilingual, you may learn few new words to increase you vocabulary, have some fun and a good talk to practice your spanish. b.  Capsforcancerbaja Is holding a garage sale on Dec 19, at the Concha in La Riviera. The volunteers are raising funds to purchase yarn to make more blankets, hats and booties for the following year. If you have donations for our garage sale, please contact iikaiser@frii.com for pickup. Thanks for your support.

c.  El Triunfo Farmers Market is going to start this Sunday April 21  From 8:30 – 5pm   Held in and around the Casa del Artesan which is on the Highway.  Come get your fresh produce and arts and crafts there and check out the town and the improvements while there.   They are also inviting artists to come and have a booth.  For information email creazonya1@gmail.com     El Triunfo hopes to continue this on a bi-weekly basis.

d.  Club de Pesca Cabo del Este invites the community to join together to celebrate the 8th annual “Dia del Nino Kids Fishing Tournament”, Sunday April 28 from 7am – 12 noon at Lazy Daze Beach Bar. Weigh-In is from 11-1. Sign-ups are on Saturday April 27th from 3 – 7 pm at Lazy Daze and are for children age 12 and under. A 50p registration fee is required. This event is organized for the sole purpose of showing our community children a good time. This is a non-profit, community effort. a.  Come worship the risen savior on this glorious Easter morning at East Cape Christian Fellowship at 9 AM.  We are located in Los Barriles on the paved road from Tio Pablo’s to the post office about 300 yards from the post office.

HEALTH & EXERCISE & ART
