a. RECYCLING NEWS! Thursday, June 6, from 9-11am, you may bring your sorted recycling materials to our Center at East Cape Casas & RV Resort. Please have your plastic prepared with tops removed from all bottles (bring the caps with you to recycle also) and all plastic crushed as small as possible. Please check our website for directions, what we accept and how to prepare it: www.eastcaperecycling.com. One of our smiling VOLUNTEERS will help you sort your stuff into the proper bags. We are still a 100% ALL VOLUNTEER group and can always use more volunteers and donations to support what we do. As our numbers dwindle, we can use you more than ever..one hour is all we ask! Bring a hat, gloves, and a smile (we now provide cold water to all!) Thank you for caring to keep our town and our planet safe and beautiful.
b. Saturday Night Dinners on the Beach continue at Hotel (Spa) Buena Vista Beach Resort. This week, Saturday June 1, join us surfside for a traditional Mexican Buffet and live music by “Pepon”. All the favorite authentic Mexican recipes from our Restaurant El Navegante kitchen, all you can eat, including dessert! Grab a margarita and kick off your flip flops at our pop-up beach bar and stick around for star gazing around a blazing bonfire set in our dug-out beach lounge area. $20usd per person. The Community of El Cardonal and Telesecundaria No. 26 “Reyes Castro Cota, would like to thank everyone who has helped make our 16th Annuel El Cardonal Fishing Tournament such a success. The funds received from the tournament and raffle will be used to repair the electrical system and obsolete air conditioners and build a sports unit for athletics.
