a. East Cape Health Center Announcement: Proud to introduce our new physician, Dr Christopher Gonzalez. Christopher comes from Los Cabo with long work history at H+ Emergency Room. He and his beloved are eager for a change to live in smaller community. He comes with outstanding credentials, and he’s an all around nice guy. Looking for long term housing for them, they prefer a house with lots of space and some yard. Preferably near the beach. Please help me find a nice place for them to land.

b. Sad News: Sam Guardamondo, one of the “originals” passed 10/22/20. Sam was one of the founders of the East Cape Anglers and could be seen on his beloved boat ‘Baja Magic’. Lots of people will miss you!
c. Thanks to everyone that responded to my request regarding the new regulations for bringing pets into Mexico. I’m posting the information I gleaned because of the multitude of requests for the information to be passed along to everyone. The authorities are looking for the attached word document that states your pets are free of parasites. Please note the form must be printed on your veterinarian’s letterhead with all information filled out (no handwritten information). Some people entered with the International Health Certificate, but they are now looking for the “free of parasites” form.

FISHING REPORT
a. The Bisbee’s Black and Blue Breaks Two Records! The most awaited, richest fishing tournament in the world reached an unprecedented, record-breaking, staggering $4.6 Million Dollar Jackpot! Unfortunately, it also broke a different record. There were NO winners! Yup, on the first day of the tourney two marlins made it to the weighing scale but didn’t reach the minimum weight of 300 lbs. to qualify. On the second and third days of fishing, there were also no qualifying marlins. Bummer! The monies paid will either be returned or kept as registration & jackpots for next year. It is up to the anglers. See ya in 2021!
