  2. To get an official record of your Covid Vaccination go to the Los Barriles Centro de Salud ask for a cartilla. You need the little Mexican passport picture (which you can get at the papeleria next to the car wash), your vaccine document and we were also told to bring our passport, but they did not need it. The photo costs 50 pesos and the vaccine record book is free.  You should also have on hand the dates of your first and second vaccine, the date of our first was on the paper but not the 2nd.

  1.   Baja’s Resort at East Cape Website Launch — Twenty years ago right now we were building Baja’s Resort at East Cape. Back in 2001 it seemed like a north outpost on Los Barriles’ sleepy main street as we joined only Otra Vez Restaurant and Chuny’s little grocery beer store where the Modelorama is.  Through the years the space has filled in and there’s a thriving north end of stores, restaurants, coffee shops, fruits and vegetables, bikes, tacos. We’re proud to have helped anchor that friendly growth with our six acres tucked in and growing into an amazing, green, ecofriendly resort. I’m now pleased to share with you our newly minted website www.bajasresortateastcape.com. It’s overdue, but we’ve been busy! We host 120 guests, casita owners, RVers all winter and take care of all our ‘Awesome’ businesses year-round.  Shaun and I know we are nothing without our incredible crews, topped by Omar Araiza and also lead by Maria Fernandez. We are grateful to them all for holding up the Baja lifestyle in our little Los Barriles community and deeply caring for all our guests across our Awesome family of business. We feel ready for the next 20 years!  I’m thankful for the collaborative assistance of immensely talented human centered design tech expert Ethan Walkley and the amazing photographer Neil Howe as we launch our new website.
