I came in with my wallet in my purse and when I went to pay for my lunch my wallet was no longer in my purse. Of course, I had it hanging over the back of my chair. A single man entered the restaurant and was seated right behind me. He had the waiter push two table together (a diversion) a few minutes later two ladies came rushing in (another diversion) to join the man. The three were seated for maybe 5 minutes and left the restaurant in a rush (another diversion). Within a hour they had charged gas on my Visa card and also tried to use it at City Club in San Jose. I am fairly confident that this is the group of people who have hit people at Bayview, a restaurant in La Paz and possibly Smokey’s. They have been photographed on video. I am waiting for La Casita to give me their photos are they had the group on video. We need to be very aware of people around us. This gang of thefts needs to be identified and stopped.
