If you stop in Guerro Negro, the whales are arriving to give birth and for less than $100 you can go on a panga into the bay for 4 hours, plus a lunch.  You’ll also see the salt production.  It’s a very spiritual trip seeing the whales close up — sometimes they’ll come up to the boat and you can touch them…One of the beaches near Santispac has a restaurant, but it’s best to bring food to cook over a fire.  Personally, I like El Requeson better.  It’s only $10/nite and you have your own palapa. – sheronmedina@yahoo.com
