  2. More on line tourist visa info: https://www.inm.gob.mx is the real government site 30 bucks and visa instant the other is visasmexico.com  they are legit but use your info to charge you 119 bucks four times.
  3. If you fly Westjet into Mexico and hold a permanent resident card, Westjet will grant you an exemption from the $37 Mexican tourist tax charge built into your ticket price. You can get this exemption 2 ways:
    1)      Use the call center when booking, tell the agent about the exemption and they will remove the tourist charge immediately from your ticket.
    2)      After booking, but before flying, call the call center and request the exemption. This is a longer process as they have to reissue the ticket.
    In both cases you need to send in a copy of your permanent resident card to taxexempt@westjet.com
