DISCUSSIONS – ANSWERS – ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1.   News from Feeding the Hungry:  1.)     As of the end of February, we will not be providing grocery vouchers for families with COVID.  The good news is that the cases are going down rapidly and the need is much less, and we are running short of funds!  We will continue to provide food security for the neediest families in our town while we have funds to do so. 2.)     We have decided to NOT have a Fashion Show this spring to raise funds.  Since we all know how uncertain any scheduled event can be with the presence of COVID and its possibilities for playing havoc with schedules, we determined that we would do other things to raise more funds.  Please be on the lookout for upcoming events. Thanks go to all of you who have contributed to Feeding the Hungry this year so we could supply food vouchers to 240 local families who were affected by COVID from July 2021 through February 2022.  Your help is so much appreciated by these families who need it the most.  If you’d like to donate, please go to https://leaders2give.org/ and click on the DONATE button and follow the instructions.  Choose the “Feeding the Hungry” option when filling out your donation info for a US tax deduction.  Or you can donate via PayPal at paypal.me/bhpurkey
