The  Community Market is still up and running and has lots of different vendors for you to shop from.  Food, produce, bread, desserts, great artisans, revendore’s and lots more!  Hours are Saturday 9am – 12 noon at the Laguna Park behind Faylas and El Viejo Restaurant.  The vendors will be here in full force until April 16th and possibly later.   Don’t miss out on this great  market!

GRACIAS to the more than 40 donors who recycled today: you’re doing a great job processing, rinsing & separating recyclables and we appreciate it!  For those who’re less familiar with our system, thanks for your willingness to stay & help our smiling volunteers help you process your recyclables .  But, whoever left their 4-5 bags of garbage for the volunteers to sort/throw out, please don’t!  We are your neighbors and an all-volunteer group so please be considerate.  For all you do to keep the East Cape and our planet safe & beautiful, gracias from East Cape Recycling & Environmental Education. – info@eastcaperecycling.com

Paint needed!!!  Asociacion de Artes has delivered school supplies in the last couple of weeks and we found some wishes we need help fulfilling.  La Ribera Primary school needs to have fresh paint in the classrooms.  So we are asking Everyone if you have paint leftover from your building projects and are willing to donate it, we would love to get it to help the school out.   We need a minimum of full one gallon containers (so no 1/2 full gallons), and if you have 5 gallons containers 1/2+ full the better!  All colors are appreciated!  The classrooms have sat empty for 2 years, and they need to new paint.  The kids deserve a fresh environment.  So, if you have leftovers or want to just buy some paint, we would appreciate it.   They hope to do the painting while the kids are on Easter Break, so we are looking for it right away.  You can contact us at eastcapersmagazine@gmail.com and we can arrange for pick up or tell you where to drop off.  If you have questions, please send me an email.   Thanks for helping the schools of the East Cape Area and Asociacion de Artes’s mission!
