1.   Wyze Cam is now offering their motion activated Wyze Cam v3 that is indoor/outdoor with an optional spot light.  The camera records to an internal micro SD card as well as optional web based recording.  The system can be set up for real time notifications.  Wyze now offers a spot light that attaches to the camera and illuminates on motion.  You can access the video recordings from anywhere you have internet access.  My personal theory, if you need 4 cameras, setup 6.  WiFi is still 20% voodoo and some will fail.   $50 for the camera and spotlight.  32 GB Micro SD cards are under $10.  Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095NWYQBC/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_V9XBDTRVPSB4A2YV8RBT My alternate camera choice is the Nest Cameras from Google.  Those are in the $200 range and require a fee for web based recording.  The Nest Cams have great resolution but require a data connection with substantial upstream bandwidth.  Nest Cams have a much better push notification.  TelCel DSL internet would be okay for one camera. Seems like once a week someone misplaces their Iphone or Android phone.  If your iphone has an internet data connection, you can locate it by using a computer (or other portable device) with the following link:  icloud.com/find.  For Android phones use this link: android.com/find.  I highly recommend that you try that process now; time is of the essence when you misplace your phone.  And yes, I misplaced mine and had to use it to find it hiding under some clothes. thecomputerguy@usa.com

Los Barriles community! Here is an update on the family in Santiago that had lost so much and I asked for donations for them. Thank you for helping, it was beyond all of our expectations. Within two days, enough money was raised to accomplish goal one: for the family to rebuy their tools and for the young man to buy his computer.
After this accomplishment, the next goal was to buy paint. Not sure how that would happen and make the house livable again for the Mother to move back into her house- way beyond my talents! But, as I was dashing one day from Caleb’s to our local vegetable stand, a long time friend (who wants to remain anonymous) that was eating at Loncheria Mar y Tierra asked me, “ do you have a minute?”. My response was, “you have about 30 seconds” as I was on a mission for Caleb’s! He said, “I am interested in helping the Santiago family”.
The next day, we had a meeting with a long time friend of the family, Raquel, and some members of East Cape Christian Church. After the meeting, Raquel, my friend and I jumped in the car and the three of us dashed off to see the family in Santiago.
Out of that meeting, my friend went back with his measuring tape and a few friends and started the plan of action on how to make the house ready for the Mother to move back in. Through his contacts, volunteers, and donations from his local church, the goal became for the Mother to be able to move back into her home this next week.With your donations, and the involvement of my friend and his wife, along with their contacts- new paint, doors, windows, new floors, and ceiling repairs were all completed! A very special thanks to my friend and his wife for taking on the 2nd goal.
Although, much is yet to be done, the family can pick up the torch from here and have a breath of fresh air and hope. Thank All of you for helping to make this happen. Some of you I don’t even know and many of you wanted to remain anonymous. The family sends you their Thanks and Gratitude for your kindness and generosity. Also, when I made the trip to Santiago to see who I could help I wasn’t sure what the outcome would be. I stand in awe to my God in how He lead and directed to help this family and the mission He put on my heart. I also, say thanks to EVERYONE that helped in some way. It is truly a joy to see the smiles on the faces of the family as their family home is livable again and the brothers are back to work. I am sure we are only a small piece in the puzzle as many of their friends also helped in different ways. Thank you again Los Barriles community for your help, trust and donations.
