Volunteers needed!  The 14th Annual Casting 4 Souls shoe giveaway will be taking place on Saturday, October 1st from 6am-2pm in the Los Barriles Cancha.  This year the group that comes down from the U.S. is a little light and we need the communities help.  If you would like to volunteer for this wonderful event that helps so many families in our community, please email Eddie Dalmau eddie@vanwormerresorts.com. 
  3. Breaking news:  If you’re a computer geek, it’s not that new.  TMobile and Starlink (Space X) have announced an agreement to provide voice calls and text messages to areas presently not covered by cell service.  The service will begin beta testing by the end of 2023.  Version 2 of the Starlink orbiting satellites will be equipped with a phased array antenna.  That provides a stronger signal back to earth.  The initial system will not provide data but will allow text messages and voice.  When your phone cannot connect to a traditional tower, it will then connect to the satellite. thecomputerguy@usa.com
