Sad News: Carlos Burgoin, de los caballos.  For those of you that remember him, Carlos rented horses for many years in a corral near the front entrance of Spa. He lived with our family part time during those years, and cared for our house in Spa.  He was my first, and closest friend in Baja. He was Tata to my kids. I will miss him dearly. Ring in 2023 by recycling excess holiday stuff + the usual at Baja’s Resort at East Cape, Thursday, January 5th, 9-11.  Wrapping paper that “crunches if squished” ok but no foil/glitter-decorated/tissue papers. PLEASE rinse/crush/separate: plastics (milk/milky style containers, clear plastics, colored plastics + lids), aluminum & metals/tin & cardboard broken down/bundled. Trash (used foil, paper, cartons with waxy lining, etc.) should be put into your own garbage. 3. Baja Shakespeare is proud to announce that we will be performing this year at the Hotel Palmas de Cortez. Hamlette and Eggs, a hilarious musical, will be showing on March 10, 11, 12 (matinee), 15, 16, 17, 18. Curtain is 7 pm, matinee at 1:30. Show Tickets 500 pesos. 4. The Education Trail event will take place on January 14th.  The Walk/Hike will start at Pizzeria Don Roberto at 7am and ends nearby. The full walk/hike will be about 10 km and the event is expected to end around 10am -11am.  Lunch and Drinks will be served after completion. Tickets $25 for adults and 150 Pesos for students. Ticket Sales will be made at LB Properties, Homes and Land, Papeleria LB and at the Saturday Community Market. 5. Questions about the February 5th Eastside Epic Bike Race:  Is this a race or a ride, and can I do this? Yes, Yes, and Yes!
