(1) Watch out for deer!!!  After over 20 years coming to the Baja, we saw our first deer in the Santiago area two weeks ago.  Well, today the front end of our car personally met a deer!  A person that stopped to help told us that there are a lot in the Santiago area and it is a problem.  So, watch out!  It literally ran out right into the car, well before we could ever stop or even see it besides the corner of our eyes.  Not a fun day in the Baja…… – jandcinthebaja@gmail.com

(2) New gas hockey at the Rebsol charged me an extra 1000pesos on my credit card today. Saw it when I looked at receipt…and showed him. He said oh so sorry, reached into his pocket and handed me a 1000peso bill.

  1.   East Cape Environmental Education and Recycling has canceled Movie Night on Friday March 10 and Friday March 24. So not to conflict with Baja Shakespeare and East Cape Guild events, and accommodate those who do not want to miss seeing AVATAR – The Way of Water, Movie Night has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 21. Movie Night is held at the Laguna Park. Bring your chair starting at 5:00 pm. The movie starts at 7:00. $150 peso donation – supports Cursos de Verano – summer camp for the local kids. Hot buttered popcorn, wine, beer, candy and Kahlua brownies available. See you at the Movies!
