 Important:

Received a call this morning from a friend who fell victim to an all too frequent scam that is so easy to fall into.  You have trouble with a computer, printer, or any piece of technology and you need help.  So, you “Google” for help with your HP printer. This is where the problem starts.  Generally the first many listings will be paid advertising. Scammers will pay Google a lot of money to appear first in the paid ad rankings.  Now you call the toll free number that you think is HP when in fact it’s a scammer.  The ask for money and access to your computer. Warning!!! Never grant anyone access to your computer, it can only get worse.  What to do?  For example type HP.com and enter.  I use an ad blocker “ublockorigin.com“.  That blocks the bad guys ads.   1.  Asking all fulltimers.  I have 3 kittens that are now around 6 months old and are spayed and neutered.  I was asked to help them as the person feeding them left about 2 months ago.  It was my hope that I could get them tame enough to fly them to Canada and find them homes but they just are not there yet.  Two of the three will let me touch them and they will eat treats off of my fingers.  I need a place where they can live outdoors and be fed as I am leaving in a couple of weeks.  I am happy to pay for the food.  Please contact Kris at jkshellard@hotmail.com

  1.   Answer to question, renewing US passport from Mexico: I think the best advice I received is to fill out the passport papers as if I was in the US, send the papers and photo with a trusted traveler going north to be mailed stateside.
