  2. RECYCLING continues Thursday, May 1st from 9 – 11 a.m. at Baja’s Resort at East Cape. Please bring RINSED recyclables, crushed (tops removed from all bottles) and separated: clear plastic, opaque-milky plastic, colored plastic. Aluminum & tin should be separated from one another, crushed as small as possible. Sorry, NO GLASS. Cardboard, bundled if possible, NO PAPER. A VOLUNTEER can help YOU with sorting into the correct collection bags. Your donation of 100 pesos per household per each month’s recyclables pays for transporting tons of material to La Paz.   3. Horrible accident happened today on the beach at LaPlaya. 3 local women, each with one horse on a line coming to the beach to allow their beautiful horses in the water. A woman coming from North had an off leash dog that was aggressing on the white horse. Moments later, the horse spooked then bucked hitting her in the middle of the head. A good Samaritan offered his truck, & I helped her in and got her to the ER. Entirely preventable The woman with the off leash, uncontrollable dog, took no responsibility & laughed when I offered to catch her dog.
