Sad News: It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of long-time Spa Buenavista resident, Jerry Hinkey, earlier this week. He died peacefully at his home in Huntington Beach, California. A service will take place on Sunday, November 19th from 1:00-5:00 at the Huntington Beach Elks Lodge, 7711 Talbert Avenue. All are welcome. Rest in peace, Jerry.

I have a Toyota Land Cruiser that needs to be driven to San Diego and delivered to a mechanics shop by Nov 15 or so.  Shipping the vehicle is very expensive and I’d rather pay someone who could use the money.  The truck has a hydraulic shock and suspension system THAT DOES NOT WORK so the ride will be very bouncy and a bit uncomfortable.  A/C is also not working. 1.  Small, threefold red wallet written with brand ‘Super Dry’ plus red and black Ulefone cell phone. Both were inadvertently put on top of the spare tire on the back of the Blue Jeep while packing up from the beach after snorkeling near Mar y Sol condos. Fell off in front of the Pemex & Sunrise RV in the road. Got just as far as Chapito’s and realized the mistake. Raced back and both were gone. Please, if you have found them, there’s a reward. 1.  Home security:  Put an Apple AirTag in anything important.  The quarter sized locator can be hidden anywhere in cars, ATV’s, purses, wallets, etc.  Anytime the AirTag passes by an Iphone, the position is sent to the Apple servers then to you.  Cameras:  I use Wyze Cam Pan v3 cameras.  Add a micro SD card and you can capture video of anything that moves.  Those cams can track motion as well.  Both available on Amazon.  thecomputerguy@usa.com

BREAKINS!: 1. Security Alert!  Last night our home and garage were broken into on Calle de Amigos in Agua de La Costa.  Our green VW Passat wagon, Specialized bicycle and tires from our neighbors dump trailer that was parked in our yard were all stolen.  We do not know what else as we are in CA now.  It has been reported to the police.  Please keep your eyes out for our car!!  Thank you. 2. more break in’s by my house at Auga de Costa past the pickle ball courts. Stolen vehicles and other items in at least 3 cases. These were posted a couple of days ago. I also heard rumor there was an attempted on Looney Loop. No details on this one.

20. As of Sept. 13 Club Rotario Los Barriles Cabo Este has been in communication with the Delegation concerning the maintenance of the fountain. The Delegation is working with CFE to restore electricity and has assigned crew to clean up the area. Once electricity is restored Club Rotario will begin turning on the water pumps, water filtration and treatment to restore this beautiful monument to our city.
