  3. Thieves went over our wall and tore out all copper pipe as well as breaking into bodega taking copper pipe off water heater tarps off quads ladder and other things. Must be selling it for drug money! Very sad. Happened after we put for sale sign up and they watched house for lights as we are in States now. ( Deb had total hip replacement 1 week ago) . Sorry to report two passings this week……………

Robin Ray Stewart passed away suddenly in his home in San Bartolo. An Amazing Artist, Welder and Metal Fabricador. The First “Non Mexican” Person to live in San Bartolo. He paved the way for many that came after him. Many of the Beautiful Ironwork Gates, Doors and Home Accents that the Residents of LB have, were Fabricated by Robin. Boat trailers, Wharfs and so much more.  The First of his kind! He loved his Son and was so Proud of Robincito’s accomplishments. Robin loved Mexico, The Traditions, the “Old Ways”.  He loved Big Green Trucks, Chocolate Ice Cream, Little Brown Bulldogs and so Much More. Our Community has Lost a Wonderful, Talented Man. He leaves behind his Son and Many Friends. He has Touched the lives of Many People and he will be Missed and Always Remembered.  There will be a service at the San Bartolo Church tomorrow, 9/15.

Roger McClellan 91 yrs. old passed 9/12/24 in Santa Barbara, CA. He and Marilyn celebrated their 68th anniversary 9/1. They were one of the original Looney Loopers in the 80’s then they moved out north to Rancho Pescadero. Back in the day they would fly their little plane and used the landing strip at Palmas de Cortez. I could tell a dozen stories but I’ll just rest my heart knowing that Roger is up there in the heavens in his plane checking on all the angels. bpeCheryl
