Note #3) Update on my US Passport renewal: My stamped envelope was placed into a US postal box on 6/27/24 via a fly up, delightful fisherman. I had filled out the form via the internet, enclosed my personal check fpr $209.53 which included expediting fee and registered return mail fees, required photo taken at the stationery store next door to the pink Baja Blooms, Hwy 1 and my old passport. As per my instructions, the new passport was mailed to the delivery service for AeroBurro, aeroburro@live.com (see Paul next door to El Viejos Restaurant). On 7/30/24 my new passport was in Los Barriles and in my possession. My only complaint is I’m 5th generation US citizen, over 80 years old but I still have a 10 year expiration date. NOTICE #2: Vender credit card scammer near Palmes de Cortez. July 5. Please be aware of LB beach venders!!!!!!!! Today a beach vender stole $500 USD in pesos and our bank card and ran $12,000 of charges in less than 20 mins. They were NEVER HERE BEFORE. We have all the evidence to prove ( transactions from their “CLIP” processing stations and names of the “silver” and “souvenir” vendors.) This was NEVER an issue here until people started supporting the Cabo guys. Please stop them by NOT buying stuff. They run calculated schemes and watch. Very sad. The TRUST has changed here. It’s a different world. We all love this place and support the locals and how hard they work for their profits. Keep the venders OUT.
