Results from my “Where to eat” survey.

Barriles Grill: pasta Alfredo con mariscos, pescado verecruzano, hamburguesas. Out on the upper dirt road. You do have to enter from the LB arroyo side because they road is being paved. So far 3 votes. Seafood Alfredo is a favorite and fish burger were added.

Hotel Los Pescadores (Patti’s Place) Fish sandwich, tacos and lots more!

La Gaviota – We had a wonderful meal there tonight (Friday, 6/14). Due to the heat we went a little later, arriving at 8:00 pm. One other table was occupied. Beautiful meal, lots of air movement from fans above. $340 pesos for the two of us. Highly recommended.

Sad News:
It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of former, long time resident, Bill Barbour, Thursday June 13th.  His wife Kay asked me to let you know.  He was surrounded by his loving family.  There will be a family service at their home in Stockton and his ashes will be scattered in his favorite fishing hole at the Smith River.
I write this as Bill’s friend & long time, fellow thespian of Baja Shakespeare.  Bill’s last performance was as Lord Clapham in Hamlette & Eggs.  Over the years, Bill has played many roles, Sheriff of Avon (his famous Oregon Festival speech), Cheech, Eddie Valley, King Sextimus, Pirate Boracho Ron & many more! 
When Bill & Kay decided to return north, the cast & crew were truly saddened; oh the laughs we shared!  Bill was so much fun, optimistic, a true team player, natural on stage, the ultimate gentleman, always with a smile, willing to go the extra! 
Bill, we miss and love you!  We treasure your enduring friendship.   Rest in Peace.
