You want to create a ‘Filter‘ for all emails from bpe@thebajaponyexpress.com
Open your gmail. At the top of the screen in the ‘Search Mail‘ field click on the down arrow.
Type in the ‘From‘ line bpe@thebajaponyexpress.com You should also type in your email address in to ‘To‘ field. Click on the ‘Create filter‘ button
Check the ‘Never send it to Spam‘ box and ‘Always mark it as important’ , then click ‘Create filter‘ button. From this point on all BPE’s will be sent to your Inbox.

Some may have noticed the smell of rotting fish parts coming from the LB garbage truck as it passed by. I bury mine halfway out from the trunk and the drip line of any tree two feet deep. Backfill and place a rock on top to keep Mr. Fox from digging them up, It will turn to fertilizer and feed the tree. With last year’s total purse being $1.7 Million Dollars and 78 Teams, let’s break that $2 Million Dollar mark and give away some Record-Breaking Checks for this year’s 25th anniversary! We had some great fishing in 2024, Wild Hooker with a 549lb Black Marlin, Team Quitena with a 471lb Blue, Team Burro with a 176lb Tuna and almost 300 total catches for all. Reports thus far indicate that the fish are out there, so get your gear squared away for another great event in a few months. As always, this will take place at the famous Buena Vista Oceanfront & Hot Springs Resort.

Potentially dangerous man: Buena Vista off Vista Del Mar. This am (Sunday 6 April) strange man on our street as I drove up my house. Creepy. I parked, rush and locked gate. He requested water. Keeping distance I put bottle outside the gate on ground. He was drinking across street, when I went upstairs. He snuck quietly, such that my dogs did not alert until he got up to front door. One of my dogs alerted. When I opened my front door, my dog went after him, finding him hiding around the corner where not visible from inside. I have video and screenshots from video – not sure how to post here, but want to warn others. Maybe 5’6″, very thin, very dark tan, was wearing no shirt, standard blue jeans. Age probably late teens / early 20’s. He was alone. Based on behavior on video from when snuck up to my door, clearly did not have good intentions! Thank god for my big dog, chased him away. He climbed over my locked gate on way out – obviously how he had got in. Tried to take photo to police, but they are not there this morning.

There IS an immigration office at SJD but you can only get an FMM visa if have a plane ticket to depart, and present them with a boarding pass scj3@comcast.net
The office at the airport for FMM’s is closed. The airport office is closed and there is no other offices to get an FMM Port of entry only. My buddy and I tried the airport two times and La Paz without luck.

In response to the question about a lost FMM card: You can replace this online by going to the website inm.gob.mx where you’ll find the tool to request a tourist card.
