a. At Spa Buena Vista....
Again ... that's 5 PM !!! Parking for the event
can be found by coming in the main entrance and turning right
through a gate when you reach the marlin fountain. This will take
you through their boat yard. Just follow the road down to the beach.
There is a large lot for parking. Walk past the fish weighing scale
to the bar and dining room. The main entrance to the event is
also the main entrance to the dining room located poolside.
If you are on the list of volunteers, set up begins at 12:00,
for dealers, please arrive at 4:15 for orientation.
All other volunteers we ask to be there at 4:30 sharp,
unless you're scheduled for the 2nd shift. Pass the word! For

Myself and three amigos went out with Vicente Cosio on the Dottie
BII. Yesterday out of San Jose at the new playita.. There are some
huge tuna out there. I hooked one that broke me off after 1 hour. My
Amigo Dave landed this Cow. We had no way to way to weigh this fish
as the playita had closed when we got in. But Vicente and Marcos
landed one last week that weighed 368 and they said this one was
bigger. Dave is 6,3 and as you can see the Tuna is taller than him
and we couldn't quite lift it up high enough to clear the head. We
were both using 100lb Fluorocarbon. I was fishing a Trinadad 30 with
100lb top shot over spectra. Dave was using a Pen international 80
with 130lb line over spectra. Vicente and his deckhand, Marcos did a
fantastic job, I highly recommend them. The dottie B was clean and
well kept, a very nice boat. Jim Hall
