Flora's Farm and Kitchen in San Jose  

 We walked past fields of organically grown vegetables into the "kitchen" and we're seated by the hostess. Everything about the restaurant was very relaxed and enjoyable. I felt as if I could have relaxed there for hours. They specialize in organic food. Farm raised chicken and pork that the farm feeds only organic products to the farm animals. They make sausage, and have a selection of fresh chicken pork and sausage as well as home made breads baked in a wood burning oven. They have a variety of fresh picked vegetables to purchase as well as herbs, fresh pastries etc. our lunch was. Very enjoyable. Our drinks were top quality and since the bar got one drink wrong and took a bit longer to get to our table. The hostess compted them! Our food was farm fresh. The chicken burger on homemade crusty bread was unlike any I have ever had. The table next to us ordered everything on the menu and raved about every meal. Deb and I each purchased some bread to take home and they told us it was on the house since it was their first day open for lunch. Dessert was also on the house.
