Awesome, was awesome again.
This week we did our annual ‘boating day’
with Awesome Sportfishing, and once again it was awesome! A
group of 12 of us go out on either the Awesome or Too
Awesome (both work fine for a large group) for a day
cruising, snorkeling, exploring the area and some fishing.
This time we headed south and we saw lots of dolphins, went
to the lighthouse and got off to shell on the beaches or
swim then cruised the south shore back to LB also checking
out the new Cabo Rivera marina. Along the way, we fish. And
boy, what a fishing trip we had this time – a total of 3 –
heck in about the first 2 hours! I can report that our
annual trips are 4 for 4! Well, actually 7 for 4 – that is 4
trips giving us 6 dorado, and 1 sail fish!...and we are NOT
out for a fishing trip…that is our side goal to help provide
dinner! It was a lovely trip once again, a day of memories
for all on board. Our crew Luis and Adon were great, and
Omar and Theresa want to provide us with the best day and
crew possible, and they have every time. If you have not
tried it out, you need to because, it is truly Awesome! We
feel there is more to the Sea of Cortez than fishing, but
when you can combined the two, t hat is Awesome! Jon,
