Baja Ha Ha Golf Winners. The real winners of the Event are our East Cape Students who benefit from the scholarship funds raised by all of you who came out to play golf and enjoy the best dinner ever in our 19 th  Tournament! Thank you to the more than 100 people who bought tickets. And to those who Sponsored a Hole or made a donation to this event. Sandy Hall gave us our absolutely best dinner ever with her crew of East Cape Guild Ladies and Guys.
A tie breaker play off  on the Ocean course  between the all girls team lead by Lynda Treadwell and an all guys team lead by Chad Pratt made the crowd cheer.  The Desert Course winners prevailed in the final play off so congratulations to Ron MacDonald, first time winner, and his team Alan Fleming, Doug Steere and Steve Fowler.

Spring – a time of renewal

Amigos Appreciation Day - Come celebrate the arrival of spring at Spa Buena Vista Beach Resort on March 21 from 4 – 6. It’ll be a good time to renew your membership or see why they are such a great deal! The inaugural Amigos de Spa Club Appreciation Day is open to all and an opportunity to buy or renew Spa memberships while sampling some of the new additions to our Snack Menu and enjoy an extended Happy Hour that day. Working with Ameri-Med, we’ll also be taking suggestions for future Spa “Preparedness” seminars such as Fishermen’s First-Aide, AED training etc. If you’ve never experienced a day at our pool, swim up bar and hot tub, join us on this free “Pool Day” and learn about all the other great deals, benefits and discounts our amigos enjoy! We offer different membership plans so bring your towel, check out the pool and facilities and then stay for the celebration. Our 20th Festival de Artes Sunday, March 24th at Palmas de Cortez and we have a food court for everyone! Baja Biscuits with pulled pork sandwiches and their own sausage on a roll creation. They also have great breakfast skillets for artists to enjoy early. Smokey's is grilling gourmet cheeseburgers and dynamite potato salad along with jumbo chili dogs and potato salad. Lighthouse Pizza will be serving hand crafted pizza and their original meatball sandwiches. Let's not forget the Palmas tacos al pastor in addition to carne asada tacos and salsas. Carmen's Cafe will be bringing her famous coffee and smoothie bar to our Festival for you to enjoy all day. Seth will be pleasing everyone with all of his hand crafted breads and rolls the same as he did in December, even gluten free selections. There will be food and drinks available to everyone all day including a full bar and plenty of shade to watch the entertainment from.
