Buena Fortuna Recycle Project
with Gabriel & Vaughn (3-13-121)

I'd been working with Gabriel @ Buena Fortuna when I got
involved with recycling the millions of feet of soaker hose
(drip tape/ cinta reago) that we throw away each year here in
the baja.
I used my recently acquired skills as a Palapaero, some
imagination and we created some very interesting products with
the used drip tape.
We presented our work to the San Jose Organic Festival last
weekend and the gave me the 5th Annual CHOYA AWARD for the best
exhibition of recycling! Who da thought!
Anyway I though you should know. I feel awkward about making a
big thing about it and then people tell me how important it
was........
So there.
I'll be setting up a exhibition Samana Santo here in La Ribera.
We created some interesting things, including a system of
building wind resistant structures with nothing more than bamboo
and drip tape! You have to see it to believe it AND it's true!

I'm exhibiting each weekend @ the SJ Organic Market each sat.
