has been misinformation about the Los Cabos Humane Society that all
animals that are taken there are put to sleep. That is not true. We
have taken 14 animals from the dump to them and they have been cared
for until new homes have been found for them. If you find abandoned

a. San Quintin:
1) As of noon on
Wednesday 25 the protestors North of San Quentin were a presence NOT
a problem! About 12 pockets of protestors in total and none
threatening! San Quintin state offices was the first group of
approximately 100, well off road and peaceful. North is SQ there
were several side roads with strikers but well off Hwy 1. At
Emiliano Zapata had approx.200 protesters close to hwy 1, but there
were 50-75 Federal Police in
full riot gear just across the street.
There was NO sense of imminent trouble. At Colonet and
San Telmo de Abajo they were collecting money - slowing but not
stopping traffic. At all points we saw protestors there was strong
police & military presence! So our trip went fine, only warning if
you are towing watch that nasty DIP/arroyo just North of Catavina
Patti and Mike Vancouver Island Bound

newspaper articles are so far behind and inflammatory.

a. Speeding Quads: PLEASE SLOW DOWN WHEN DRIVING ON the
LA RIBERA BEACH, with the holidays coming and the beach will be full
of children and dogs this is IMPORTANT. I must mention that our
little La Ribera Pooch was run over and killed on the beach
recently, by a fairly innocent driver who had dogs barking in her
car and the distraction ended Gypsy's 6 years of life. Any regular
at the beach or any beach walker on the La Ribera beach knew her,
she dug holes and played with her ball and swam alot for a Shih Tzu.
Our loss is deep, BUT THE POINT IS THAT IT IS THE DRIVERS ON THE
BEACH WHO CAN SLOW DOWN AND PAY A LITTLE MORE ATTENTION and the
children and dogs will all be safe this holiday season.
