Los Cabo Humane Society will be here on Tuesday
March 31 for a clinical castration on the court in downtown Los
Barriles. It would be very helpful if all animals (cats and dogs)
could be pre-registered with DIF building next to La Cancha before
Tuesday. Thus, we count how many operations will be required.
Registration of 31 animals begin at 8 am The Court, Los Barriles.
Please inform your neighbors, friends and employees of the clinic.

Anytime I travel outside the US, I always wonder if my cell phone
will work. Well there's a web site for that: http://www.willmyphonework.net/
Unfortunately, it doesn't give us a map to show actual coverage. For
instance, Verizon's CDMA phones will work in some areas of La Paz
and Cabo but not in all areas of BCS. If you have a GSM capable
phone (ATT, TMobile or phones that have that slot), you can purchase
a prepaid sim card at most airports or phone stores in the country

San Quintin: Veronica at the Vagabundos del
Mar Office contacted Antonio Munoz with Baja Cactus on regards to
the situation in San Quintin yesterday 3/25/15. Antonio said last
week was when the protest got out of control but everything has
calmed down. They were suppose to have a meeting yesterday to
see if they could come to an agreement with the Farm Workers.
No news yet if anything was accomplished. He says there is a lot of
police patrol in that area making sure. everything stays stable and
calm. There was a section of the road that was reduced to one lane
but people are traveling
through just fine.

a. Quad Discussion:
1)
Yesterday my daughter-in-law and my nine month old grandson were
laying on the beach near the water and were passed at a high rate of
speed by a woman and child on a quad. The woman drove the quad
literally (meaning, no exaggeration!) one foot - 12 inches- from my
family while they were laying on the beach! If you must drive on the
beach, PLEASE SLOW DOWN, and drive safely and consideration of
others who are enjoying the beach in a quieter manner. How about
vehicles drive on the upper beach, away from the water? Last time I
checked it was still a beach not a road!

MUST DRIVE ON THE BEACH, PLEASE BE SAFE !!
Recently I was on the beach in Buenos Aires arroyo with my 4 dogs
playing and swimming. I noticed an ATV headed North at a fast speed.
I used my hands to indicate to slow down, and instead the driver
went faster. The driver was a teenager or college age. Please, if
you must drive vehicles on the beach, drive carefully and slowly so
someone or some animal does not get hurt. Two times I have had dogs
hit by ATV's. Thank you for your cooperation.
3) In
response to the poor lady whos dog was run over on the beach NO
quads, side by´s or any type of motor vehicles are allowed on the
beaches period!!
